JOB SUMMARY:
Force Staffing Services currently has a career opportunity for an experienced Regional Staffing Manager for the Lakewood CA. area. JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least three years of college education; or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Applications to include but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer (required)
• Great communication skills oral/written (required)
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask based on client and company needs.
• Prior Warehouse/Distribution experience (preferred)
• Schedule Flexibility (required)
• Previous supervisory experience (required)
• Experience in Account Management (preferred)
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• New hire orientations, and handling employee training.
• Scheduling procedures that match operational needs.
• Solving payroll issues on a timely basis.
• Responsible for all counseling sessions and evaluations of temporary and temp to perm employees.
• Develop strategies with Project Director to secure large accounts in assigned area and nurture relationships with key clients
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all client requirements.
• Overseeing the development of the account and the fulfillment of orders for assigned client.
• Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
• Responsible for the overall administration and proper communication to client of required reporting to include: Workers Compensation procedures, Corrective Actions, Performance Evaluations, Attendance (Tardy, Absent, Vacation, Personal Time, Holiday) Reports
• Performing specific research/investigation into operational issues as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
