JOB SUMMARY:
A packer assembler performs a variety of routine tasks related to labeling. Must be able to identify numbers, distribute collates to appropriate boxes. Assists leads and co- workers in labeling ten boxes a minute perform general housekeeping duties in warehouse. Work effectively with other employees and communicate orally. Stack labeled boxes that weigh between 10 to 30 pounds onto conveyor belt.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-Standing, Bending, Lifting our required.
-Fast paced manufacturing warehouse environment.
-Ability to identify #, work well under pressure.
-Model & promote the Company Values and Philosophy.
-Must be organized.
-Knowledge of warehouse layout.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Enforce Company Safety Programs.
-Maintain a Clean and Organized work area including: ensuring that the collating work area and floor is kept organized, and clear of empty boxes, clutter, trash and scrap.
-Possess ability to identify collate and box item #.
-Ability to effectively follow procedures & steps in labeling boxes.
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
Hours: 3:30 pm to 12:00 pm
$12.5 an hour.
