Sr. Bow Maker - Production 1st Shift
OVERVIEW:

Bow Maker needed in the city of Buena Park, CA. The ideals candidates will perform basic assembly line tasks under the supervision and guidance of the Department Lead & Line Lead. Fast paced manufacturing warehouse environment, temperature variations in a warehouse environment, Warehouse and production assembly work, position requires the ability to stand for a period of at least 8 hours, lift at least 35lbs including items of different weights, sizes, and shapes, some bending and pulling as well as hand dexterity.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs various work/tasks as assigned by a department Lead, Supervisor or Manager in a distribution facility that assembles, packages and distributes ready to use food products and consumer packaged goods. The product line includes a wide assortment of dry goods and custom manufactured products. This position performs basic assembly line tasks under the supervision and guidance of the Line Lead & Sr. Line Lead.

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Including the following (other duties may be assigned):
Safety:
• Perform all or some of the following tasks: Remove baskets from boxes; add product, sizzle and accessories into the baskets. In addition trim sizzle, operate heat gun, and cut ribbon/raffia to specific measurements, tie bow to baskets and affix labels.
• Follow Quality Control Guidelines and/or instructions.
• Communicate the need for stock replenishment in a timely and polite manner.
• Use of Correct Product assigned (color, weight, size, brand).
• Punctual, Tolerant, and Open minded.
• Follow instructions.
• Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines- including the proper use safety tools use such as goggles, gloves, and box cutters.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure Line is building to Quality Assurance Specifications per guidelines provided by the Quality Assurance Management team and Line Leads.
• Personal ability to build product to specification and ability to effectively demonstrate and communicate the proper procedures and steps in build product.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of:
• Company Safety Guidelines.
• Products to the point of being able to discern correctness, weights, and measurements.
• Appropriate personal hygiene.
• Desired High School Diploma preferred or 9th through 12th grade.
• Desired history in Manufacturing, Production Processes.
• Understand and apply direction; proper use of safety tools- goggles, gloves and the use of box cutters and tape dispensers
- Fast paced manufacturing warehouse environment, temperature variations in a warehouse environment, Warehouse and production assembly work, position requires the ability to stand for a period of at least 8 hours, lift at least 50lbs including items of different weights, sizes, and shapes, some bending and pulling as well as hand dexterity.


WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:

• AM - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
