**MUST HAVE FREIGHT FORWARDING EXPERIENCE**
SUMMARY PROOFREADING DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST:
Leader global third party supply chain manager specializing in a wide range of warehousing, transportation and logistics services in North America. Newark, NJ is currently hiring for Proofreading Data Entry Specialist.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PROOFREADING DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST:
• Must have freight forwarding experience
• Ability to proofread
• Data entry experience is required
• Ability to communicate status updates as outlined in policy and procedure
• Knowledgeable in accounting and spreadsheet will be a plus.
• Utilize Microsoft I-Share to open and navigate documents.
• HS diploma or GED required
• Generally 1-3 years of experience in Logistics Export Ocean
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROOFREADING DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST:
• Understand manifest and master bill of lading
• Ability to update profile and navigate pages in MyNet.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to open and update existing spreadsheets, copy, and paste
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook to send and respond to email messages, compose messages, use folders to organize messages, schedule own appointments, save and archive email messages
• Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to open and review slides presented
• Utilize Microsoft Word to create a basic document, edit documents, and proof documents to make them more accurate
• Other tasks as assigned
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF PROOFREADING DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST:
• $20.00 / hour
• Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch
OR
• Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 with 30 minute lunch
• Project may last for 2 months to possibly the end of the year
