JOB DESCRIPTION:
Picker/Packer/Shipper is responsible for following picking and packaging procedures to fulfill order and/or utilizing shipping software to apply shipping labels to outbound orders. The Order Picker utilizes pick lists allocated by the picking foreman/warehouse supervisor to fulfill orders using RF scanners and material handling equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to be certified to drive Forklift- Forklift experience is a plus
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while interacting with a diverse team
• Solid reading and writing skills; must be able to read orders AND match items picked.
• Detail oriented and can work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent- Required
• Basic Math Skills - Required
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment – Required
• Working knowledge of shipping software – Preferred.
• Working knowledge of packaging and shipping strategies - Preferred
• Capable of using electronic devices such as RF Scanner – Preferred
• Forklift experience - Preferred
• Use of RF Scanners, pallet jack, forklift, man lift, plastic wrap machine, bagging machines
• The employee is constantly required to stand extended periods of time; walk; reach above shoulders; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Frequent pushing and pulling of carts, pallet jacks and units with up to 32 lbs. of force.
• Constant lifting of up to 50lbs without assistance or equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Pick orders by reading pick tickets/scanners, assure correct part and count accuracy, move products to the warehouse shipping area while operating barcode scanners during order picking or put-away process
• Packaging kits to order specifications
• Working in a team environment to efficiently package required orders to highest level of accuracy
• Handling finished materials and moving to appropriate storage areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform inventory cycle counts, as required
• Sorts and packs orders quickly and accurately
• Uses shipping software to sort and determine best shipping method for orders and applies shipping label to package
• Utilizes pick lists to accurately and efficiently fulfill orders allocated by the picking foreman.
• Interpret, adhere to, and enforce all company policies and ISO procedures

WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
Shift: Mon-Fri
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
$11.00 Depending on experience
