SUMMARY OF LOAD CONSOLIDATOR:
Local Cold Storage facility in Chicago, IL is offering career opportunities to an inbound and Outbound runner.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE LOAD CONSOLIDATOR:
• 1-3 month months to a year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent year combination of relevant education and experience.
• Must work well with others and have a go-getter attitude
• Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
• Willingness to carry out procedures EXACTLY as directed
• Communication skills
• Comfortable working independently or as a team
• Able to bend and lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A LOAD CONSOLIDATOR:
• Perform duties associated with the shipping and receiving of production
• Accurately count and record case/pallet quantities.
• Unload product from conveyor belt to designated pallets
• Apply system generated labels to each pallet as per customer requirements
• Record quantities on provided paperwork
• Re-stack products correctly as per customer requirements
• Move pallets into designated staging area
• Communicate with Managers/Supervisors effectively
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap
• Assist in other areas when necessary
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF LOAD CONSOLIDATOR:
• Monday-Friday OT required
• 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• $16.00 / hour
