SUMMARY OF CYCLE COUNTER:
National cold storage facility in CHICAGO, IL is offering career opportunities to a Cycle Counter.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CYCLE COUNTER:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 6 months to a year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Must work well with others and have a go-getter attitude
• Must be able to work independently without supervision is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CYCLE COUNTER:
• Process HHRE every break
• Review HHRE reports
• Audit availability error report
• Audit error report
• Review F000L report
• Responsible for neatness/upkeep of freezer as cycle counting (pick up wrappings)
• Audit zero lot report from Physical Inventory PHIR.
• Comply with company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
• Follow practices and procedures through a robust Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point System (HACCP).
• Provide safe and legal storage of products through a quality management system.
• Follow and enforce all food safety and quality requirements.
• scan pallet positions using an RF scanner and count cases to insure inventory accuracy
Counts the inventory in the required cycles and on a timely manner
• Make recommendations to improve the management of inventory and accuracy
• Accountable for counting & adjusting the inventory, bin transfers, and computer entries under supervision.
• Research inventory discrepancies through transaction histories, including additions of returned product into stock, shipping, receiving.
• Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required
• Helps maintain area cleanliness and organization
• Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the distribution center
• Conduct physical inventories cannot be scare of heights and must be detailed oriented
• Assist in other departments when needed
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF CYCLE COUNTER:
• Monday – Saturday, Overtime as needed
• 1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm $18.00
• 2nd shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm $18.50
