JOB SUMMARY:
Industry leading manufacturer and distributor of packaging products is seeking experienced Thermoforming Machine Operators who will set up and supervise the line of light foam and plastic products such as plates, cups and others.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THERMOFORMING MACHINE OPERATOR:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience operating thermoforming machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong math skills.
• Previous mechanical experience
• Ability to lift 7-50 lbs., push/pull 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to pass background check, drug test and be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THERMOFORMING MACHINE OPERATOR:
• Responsible for operating and troubleshooting thermo lines.
• Responsible for quality of product packaging.
• Responsible for maintaining run efficiencies for assigned lines.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain or improve quality.
• Perform all quality checks at assigned intervals.
• Follow all company safety rules and policies and assist in relieving packers for breaks.
• Expected to communicate any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
• Required to report to work in accordance with their work schedules and to complete their scheduled shifts as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• $14:00 / hour
• One week will work 36 hours the following week will work 48 hours
