**FIRST SHIFT POSITION**
SUMMARY OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
Local warehouse in Arlington TX is offering career opportunities to a Maintenance Tech who will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment including the coordination of necessary PM materials to prevent breakdowns.
REQUIREMENTS OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have 6 months prior experience
• Ability to properly lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics and the ability to interpret/read drawings of such.
• Ability to weld and fabricate light machine guarding, jigs, tools, and/or handrails.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble pumps, motors, gears, and plant equipment during repair process.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
• Compliance to applicable safety, maintenance and housekeeping requirements.
• Ability to interpret and communicate work orders for repairs.
• Ability to manage applicable PM materials used in the preventive maintenance of the machinery.
• Safely troubleshoot and operate equipment.
• Work with production crew to meet preventive downtime scheduled.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment needed/used for maintaining the facility machinery.
• Knowledge of and compliance to applicable PM record keeping requirements.
• Knowledge and awareness of relevance and importance of activities contributing to the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Quality System requirements.
• Perform and conduct training on items such as LOTO, Forklift certifications, and other training deemed necessary by management.
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• $16.00 - $18.00 / hour - Based on experience
